Autumn is the absolute best time of year for fashion. For me, Fall fashion is all about layering together light pieces. I also take this time of year to ditch most of my tight clothing and instead go for a slouchy but tailored look. If you’re aiming towards looking put together and chic then buying pieces with some extra room is the best way to achieve that. In this blog post, I’m going to share with you how I styled this all white Autumn look. I’m also going to share where you can find these exact pieces mentioned as well as some alternatives!
In my last fall fashion blog post which you can find here, I talked about how I am investing more in my pieces. I spoke about how it has become much more important for me to own pieces of quality fabric and design. One of the main reasons for this is because I would like to be more aware of my ecological footprint. I hope that in doing so I am able to prevent unnecessary wastefulness.
I truly love fashion. Because of this, I buy a lot of it. And in turn clear out my closet to prepare for my new items at least a few times a year. While I know I will continue to purchase new items, it’s my goal to stop purchasing items that are wasteful. By buying better quality items, I am less likely to over-purchase and need to throw out/donate clothing as often.
In this blog post, the clothing items I share with you are a happy medium as far as price range goes. These items are from some of my favourite stores. These stores make pieces of great quality at a reasonable price.
Monochromatic in White
This look is nearly an all-white look. I broke up the white pieces by adding darker tanned accents through accessories. I absolute love white during the Autumn and Winter months. Remember when we weren’t allowed to wear white after Labour Day? What a weird time that was. Although I never listened to that rule and have always rocked white all year long.. (sorry fashion gurus).
Alright, lets get started! Below are all of the pieces I am wearing in this all white autumn look. As well as some similar pieces for you to browse.
What I’m Wearing: Sweater
Luca Puff Sleeve Dynamite Sweater: CAD $49 – I’m wearing a size small
The fit of this sweater is definitely oversized. I typically go for mediums in my sweaters and cardigans but went down to a small for this piece. This sweater has a very deep neck line so I like to spread it across my shoulder to prevent it from sitting too low on my chest. When I wear this sweater to work I usually have to wear an tank top underneath. If you do size up, just keep in mind the v-neckline will also be larger, which is why the medium just didn’t work for me.
Overall this sweater is a great quality piece. The material is a thick stretchy material. This sweater does look best tucked in to your bottoms. This does pair best with high waisted bottoms because it is slightly cropped.

H&M V-Neck White Sweater: CAD $29.99
H&M Rib-Knit White Sweater: CAD $29.99
Mango V-Neckline Sweater: CAD $59.99
Lulu’s Ribbed Knit Sweater: CAD $42 – this has a different neckline but very similar sleeves
What I’m Wearing: Pants
Dynamite High Rise Carrot Jeans: CAD $59.95 – I’m wearing a size 25
The fit of these jeans are also very oversized. I typically wear a 27 in jeans but had to size down to a 25 for the perfect fit. These jeans are quite high waisted and sit right at the small of my waist. These are not see through at all, but I do still wear them with seamless nude underwear just to be safe. The pleating of these jeans stays put even after multiple washes. These are made of a fairly light material so they do stretch out throughout the day.
The only downside of these jeans is that the inseam is fairly long. I find myself pulling them up throughout the day because the have a tendency to bunch at the pleating area. This is the main reason as to why I chose to size down. The waist still fits great but there is less bunching in the pleating. As I just mentioned these do stretch out throughout the day so if they fit snug at first they’ll give more as you wear them.
Similar White Jeans
Dynamite High Waist Crop Pants: CAD $35 – The reason I’m putting these first is because I also own these and this they’re a great alternative. They’re not quite the same and don’t have the same pleating, but they fit great.
Mango Regina Slouchy Jeans – CAD $69.99
Revolve Baggy Pleated Jeans – CAD $168.33
What I’m Wearing: Shoes
Lulu’s Tan Heeled Sandals: CAD $24.75 – these are currently on sale!
These sandals are probably my most worn heels from April to November (the rest of the year Canada is covered in snow). I cannot say enough good things about this pair of shoes. They’re a 2 inch block heel sandal with an open back. They’re made of vegan leather and are unbelievably comfortable. I have worn these to work (I’m a teacher) and they don’t hurt my feet at all even after standing all day.
These heels are great and absolutely think you should get these while they’re on sale! The only thing to keep in mind is that you do need to pay import taxes when you buy from Lulu’s, so keep an extra $10 or so for when your package arrives.
Similar Tan Shoes
Lulu’s Naked Espresso Mules: CAD $24.75 – These are super similar to the pair I’m wearing but come in 5 different shades of nude colours so you can choose which one you’d like!
Lulu’s Peep Toe Mules: CAD $48.75
Hudson’s Bay Slip On Mules: CAD $105
What I’m Wearing: Accessories
Earrings & Belt
I kept this all white autumn look clean and simple by using similar tones accessories to add to this monochromatic look.
My earrings are from a local artist in my city. Although does ship all across Canada! You can order directly from her Instagram account @claygems.byjo, she has highlights on her page of what is still available and also does custom pieces!
I purchased this belt SO long ago that I don’t even remember where I bought it. I do buy most of my belts from places like old navy, and I found a similar one from there here ($16.94). In fact, that belt is pretty much the exact same as the one I’m wearing and very well could be the one I purchased!
That’s a wrap!
And that’s a wrap on this all white autumn look! If you purchase any of these items let me know in the comments below how you like and style them!
